Banana Bread and Celery Root


It's been a cozy few days with the fire running constantly and the snow and ice all piled up outside. We've been eating roasts and root vegetables and and fresh bread, having fun along the way.

  1. I love celery root. Did you get yours from the garden? We harvested a 3 pound turnip tonight! I think the frost makes them sweet.

  2. I wish! Although it is from a farm not more than two miles away. Your garden sounds amazing. I'm slowly amending our gravelly, clay soil; sadly, root vegetables might take a while...
